GW2: Path of Fire has hidden achievements in Act 3 of the Story Journal. These three achievements are needed for completing all 19. Collecting them all, and you’ll acquire 15 points and the ascended amulet – Jahnus’s Stained Pectoral (113 Power, 71 Precision, 71 Ferocity, 133 Condition Damage). Since the achievements are decently hidden, we’ve put together this guide on where to find hidden achievements in Act 3 of Path of Fire.
How to get Hidden Path of Fire Act 3 Achievements
There are three hidden achievements in Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire Act 3 story journal. The first two are acquired during the story mission “To Kill a God”, and the third one is found in the last story mission, called “Small Victory (Epilogue)”.TheGw2 Pof Mastery Points
Who Needs a Magic Sword hidden achievement is not so secret if you look at the boons bar at the start of fight immediately. This is a bit hard, since you tend to swing with your new weapon Sohothin right off at the start of the fight, which, in turn, locks the achievement. To receive the hidden achievement “Who Needs a Magic Sword” you’ll need to kill Balthazar without using Sohothin. Even if you use the first skill, without even hitting anyone, it will remove the achievement from the progress bar. So, at the start of the fight, use the swap action key, and make sure you don’t turn it on by accident. The Won’t Get Killed Again hidden achievement should be showing up in the achievement list from the start of the final fight. It is in the buff bar, along with the other boons. It will remain there until you fail to stop Balthazar’s ultimate attack. This is an attack where he goes to the middle, gains an invulnerability shield, and starts charging the death spell. To receive the hidden achievement “Won’t Get Killed Again” you need to stop Balthazar from casting the ultimate attack.
This is done with the help of Aurene, who leaves a blue circle that you should stand in. This will give you a new action key above your active bars, called “Coordinated Attack”. Once used, it will perform a coordinated, well-timed attack with Aurene, and it will break through Balthazar’s defenses and stun him. This will save you from dying and eventually lead you to the achievement itself. Be sure to free Aurene from time to time, as Balthazar tends to stun her, when he goes to charge his Ultimate attack. There is enough time to do it, and you don’t need to rush it, but be aware of it. If you die from anything else but the Ultimate Attack, you’ll also get the achievement.
The third and last hidden achievement is called “Saturday Night Fever”. This one is pretty decently hidden, as you won’t get the notification for it on the boons bar. To get the last missing achievement, you need to complete the step where you speak with Chief Councilor Imann during the last Path of Fire story mission. Once you speak with him, the party will start, and the local musicians on the stage to the left will start playing. Go over there and stand below them, really close to the platform, under one of the Casino Musicians. Type /dance in the chat, and enjoy the free achievement points, as you gain the Dance Leader boon (All eyes are on you).

2 years agoGreetings, Commanders!
Since quite a few of us will be purchasing the game in one form or another in the next few months, or have already done so, I thought now would be a good time for a friendly reminder about the safety of your serial code.
Take a minute or two out of your day to ensure that you save your GW2, HoT, or PoF game serial code somewhere where you know it won't be deleted accidentally, and can be easily retrieved later if you need it. We see a lot of posts from players who have submitted support tickets to ArenaNet but can't confirm their serial codes because they either lost access to the email address they were using at the time the code was mailed to them, or even deleted it entirely.
- If you are using what may be a temporary email address (like a school or work-related one), or don't have the ability to archive emails in your permanent mailbox, consider printing out the email you were sent with your serial code and storing it somewhere safe for later use.
- Even if you have an email address that you consider permanent, think about creating a folder that is separate from your Inbox specifically for storage of game serial code or confirmation emails.
- While you're at it, you might also want to write down on that paper, or email to yourself and save along with that confirmation/serial email, a list of characters associated with your account, as ArenaNet will also sometimes ask for a character name on the account as another way of verifying account ownership.
If you lose access to your GW2 account, ArenaNet support will ask you for some information to verify that you are the account's owner before they can grant you access. Ensuring that your information is handy should you need it for something like this later will save future you some trouble down the road.
A full list of the information ArenaNet may require to verify the ownership of an account:
- Full Name
- GW2 email address (log-in name)
- GW2 serial code (can be core, HoT, or PoF)
- GW2 display name (Abcdef.1234)
- Character name
- Method of payment
- Billing address (the one associated with your method of payment)
- Last four digits of credit card (if used as payment method above)
- Name on credit card (as above)
- Date of birth
- SMS auth. phone number
Free Gw2 Pof Serial Key Codes
Keep in mind that all of this information refers to the details as of the date your purchased the game/expansion. Your address, credit card, or phone number may very well change in the future. Make sure you have a record of this information as it was when you made the purchase.
Thanks!
